English Language Challenges

  

My experience learning English at university is good, I started in I English and feel that I needed this class because I did not know nothing. In I English I learned to think the english like english and not like spanish, this was my most common mistake. About the use of blogs I think is important for learn to write in english, learn not only speak and the blogs are funny because we can see the opinion of us classmates. I remember that in III English we had the best class and always we talked absurd things, I loved to do bullying to Julieta and German in special to German because he always bethered with my jajaja.

 

About the plan English or the aspects of English class I think that the planning for the final test is wrong because this test is standard and all the students we are oblige to do. My experience with this test is that I can't finish all the test because my concentration in limited, I can perfect attentive for 20 minutes but after I need things that wake up my mind and this test it looks like it's designed for bore. Please, is not nothing personal, it's only my opinion but really, a english test can be interesting. Also, I think that the final test it becomes monotonous and this can be the factor that generates it.

 

Being honest, I don't using english in my daily because my family not know english, only my brother in law but he not live with me, well, before we talked or he helped me to practice  but today he is a married man and he is totally dedicated to his family. In only opportunity that I using english is would be if a foreigner ask me for help jajaja. :)

Changes that could be made in my career

I always have think that my career has things that should be changed, in especially the length of studies. The curriculum it's fine but has things, like some seminars that I personally think should not be art and politics seminar for example is the same as other courses of previous years. I think the part of the curriculum that sees the art history for the career of visual arts is a little insufficient, the subject that happens in my career on art history is almost a brushstroke and often is not enough. As artists we must know how to defend our works

In addition, the workload is very heavy. I think that the evaluations are fine but sometimes the way to evaluate a work is very ambiguous. When I was in previous years, I often had to stay until 10 PM to finish a job at the university and this I think that definitely it's not good. I do not say that study lengths should be easy but I think it's important to have time for other things

About the faculty facilities I think they are terrible (in especially the arts center) but in my faculty. Some terminations are necessary, the isolation of somes workshops is finished and the issue of somes workshops that do not have ventilation and being in them becomes toxic for health and about the use of technology in the faculty I think is fine, the workshops have all the implements they need, although some air conditioning it would not be bad jajaja.

Teaching methods are good, but it always depends on the teacher, there are teachers who teach very well because they are noted to have a vocation, however there are other teachers who are noted a long way away who have no vocation teaching and teach almost obligated.

In spite of everything I like my faculty, because it has the best pastures to sleep :)

My Summer Plans

For this Summer I haven't plans because I think that I'm going to work but it's only a possibility, still I don't decide. The truth I would like to visit the south of Chile because the last summer I went to north of Chile and I visited Calama, San Pedro, Tocopilla, Iquiqui, Codpa and Arica. Well, for this summer I would like go to south and travel for Austral highway. The last year I went to Chiloe but I could not go all the island and I would like to have the chance, only that I don't know about my summer because I don't want go alone, I prefer to go with some friend or my partner. 

I want to visit differents cities and I woul like to know new landcapes and new people, in my travel for the north of Chile I realize that traveling you learn about the people, how pleople are, their culture. Also I would like to go to San Rafael Lake or visit the Chilean Patagonia because some time ago I went to a photograpy exhibition about the Selknam or Onas named: Los espíritus de la Patagonia (The Patagonia spirits) and with the captures really I felt was in these places. So, for this reason I would like to visit the south, I think that Santiago is nice but, the people do not think in the rest of Chile, they often say that "Santiago es chile" (Santiago is Chile) however I believe that the people that say this do no visit nothing of Chile (or is people very ignorant).

Whatever, I hope can go to the Patagonia and go all for Austral highway and know beautiful people.

My favourite piece of art

It's dificult to choose a piece of art because I'm studying art, I had choose between many pieces and exist paintings or sculptures really nice, the same happen with the Contemporary Art but in spite of this I think that my favourite piece of Art is La Toilette de Henri Toulouse Lautrec. It's a beautiful paiting and the author it was Frenchman painter considerate inside the Postimpressionism, for me he is the best painter of this artistic movement because I love your technique: Lautrec used the oil how if was crayon created a diferent atmosphere in your pieces. the colors are used with calm leaving some parts of cardboard with base. La Toilette was painting with oil on cardboard in 1896 and the model not was traditional girl of time, Lautrec choose whorehourse girls for representation in your paintings, liked scenes with actors, dancings, prostitutes and  bourgeois, you know, scenes that come out of the ordinary. 

The truth I like Modern Art because I believe that without that change the art would be stuck in the same paradigm and the Modern Arts was the necessary  for the Contemporary Art will develop because I think that in this time, the academy had a strong power on the artistic production. 

I love this painting that the last year I painting a copy for my workshop how exercise for learn represent human body in oil. It was a challenge for me but I could paint a piece that I loved.

Some postgraduate course in my future

I don't know about something postgraduate course, the truth is that I don't think in this, the future for me it's a thing that hardly ever think but if I have to think in some course I would like consider taking museums postgraduate or cultural management. The reasons are easy, because these postgraduate help me with restoration, they are related to each other and I could complement my knowledge. I would like study   abroad because I think that will perfect chance of know other cultures and not just an opportunity to study. Also I would like study (thinking that I was abroad) in all day or (in case that I had a job) I would like study part time course.
But all these are supposition because I don't know my future, recently I think in other options for example study automotive mechanic course but every thinking in arts, a way for complemet with my area, my degree. In the case to study this course would be next year becuase now I can't for my studys in university.
Also is very important for me be change or search other options because I'm a person that who gets bored easily so, it's essential for me find activitys that I loved, it's beautiful to fall in love of something new, find passion for what you do.

My future Job

I imagine my job how some related with my area however I know that is dificult find a job in painting or related with Art, it's necessary created new possibility and use the opportunitys. For this reason that I would like have a job related with restoration because I enjoy in classes and I had the opportunity of repair a real piece and I learned about what feeling in the moment, the fear of confuse or make a mistake but later I could get over and the restoration came aout perfect.

I prefer a job that permit me see the green places or sun light but also I like be indoor, for this I would like job in a museums or in gallerys. Other option is job restoration of parks and in this case I could be job in outdoor.

Travel is important for me so, it will very very nice have a job that give me the possibility of travel. I think that I'm in the time for travel and if not I take advantage in the appropiate moment I could lose the opportunity.

About the salary I think that have in accordance with the time of job. I don't want job in a place where exploid me jajaja

I'm study restoration because I think it's very important know my area and I want continue study about restoration or some related for example anthropology because is both relate. I would like complement restoration with other disciplines of that way improve the method or techniques. 

In the future I hope have a goog job, I don't know that as will be and the truth I don't wait nothing. only I would like be happy with my job.

This movie belong to gender of Animation and drama. The story start with Shizuku Tsukishima a girl that love read and your plan was happen all summer reading in the library and translated foreing songs. But your plan change when she discover a name in all the  chips books that she read, this name is Seiji Amasawa. Following the footsteps of a mysterious cat she dicover the workshop where Seiji works as an apprentice of luthier. Later Seiji say to Shizuku your dream: go to Cremona, Italy for lear and perfect the luthier technique creating violins. However Seiji also help to Shizuku to decide that she follow your dream, write books and from this moment Shizuku and Seiji promise to be together. 

The central song is Country Roads, take me home of John Denver sing for Yoko Honna in the Japan version. I recommend this movie for the argument and the lovely animation, it's a beautiful story of love and respect for other person as well as Studio Ghibli stands for the beautiful landscape create only using the animation. I love the Studio Ghibli, all your movies, in special Spirited Away (Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi) and The Mononoke princess (Mononoke hime) but I would like recommend this movie because I think that film teach to follow the dreams, it show how painful but beautiful that is the life. 

My Pets: Antonio, Emily, León and John

Now I have five pets, four cats and one dog but I don't like the dogs, I love the cats although all bikes I love my dog. His name is Capitan and my grandfather brought him home for my birthbay number fifteen. In my house are cats lover, you know, have a dog was very complicated but little by little we got used to change.

When I'm in high school my cousin came with a baby cats, he was very fragile, ill-fed and full of flea. Your name is Antonio because we think that he had face of Antonio. Later came my home the first girl cats, I went for she to university because I adopted my cat to one classmate of my workshop, I remember that was love at first sight and with my cousin named Emily for a character of a series (criminal minds). With the time my cousin brought two cats more, León and John. Al first I can't got used at they but you love captivate me and now I love to my four cats.

I don't think if I would like have different pet, I every think in cats, and I think in dogs every time is think in save a dog, I don't know, if dogs was in the street or it need me. 

I don't like have the exotic pets, I think these animals should be free, in your natural habitat because have a exotic pets signify have a animal that is undomesticated and this for my it's like mistreatment. It's very diferent have a dog or a cats because this animals are domestic, and, a exotic animals in the most in the cases implicate have caged, for this raeason I prefer have a cats like pets.

The best Concert

The best concert I've went is the 5th symphony of Dimitri Shostakovich in the Municipal Theater. When we went for the tickets, we bay the best seats remaining and we can see very very nice the concert. Dimitri Shostakovich was a Russian composer, considered by many as one of the best composers of the XX century. Shostakovich lived during the Soviet Period and your music was about communist regimen but, was about of the people life, of the labourer. 
The concert was very fany, I went with my partner, the truth I don't like the contemporary music, I prefer modern music or impressionist music but I love the symphonys of Shostakovich.
In the concert I remember that I excited when sound the Gong and almost I cry with the sound of clarinet because represent the sound of the siren for curfew.

For my this is the best concert that I've went because this symphony give my very emotions.

I would like visit Egypt

 I love Egypt, I would like to go to Egipto because since children I was interested the pyramids. I remember that I loved wach Discovery Channel or Nat Geo only for wach pragrams of Egipto. I remember that I wach a documentary about pyramid, the archaeologist talken about pharaoh, mummys, your ceremonys, etc.
When I started university, I have story class and the theacher told as about the gods and the worldview. Egipto have a polytheistic religion, well, your worldview it very important for understand your relation with the life and the death. The egyptians believed that the Nile river separating the life and death. In the night, the other side of Nile was the world of the dead.
The truth, I would like to Study in Egipto, but, I would like to do studies about restoration, extract show for send laboratory and I do restorations to ceramic piece or textiles and metal work. Also I would like to study about the story, investigte about some dynasty, in special Akenaton dynasty, and investigate about early period and the influence of Grecia, the hellenistic period on Egipto.
